It was recently renovated and expanded in 2013 and now also includes an oil on copper painting by John Singleton Copley as well as Colonial era paintings and objects from the Art Museum’s own collection. The Ohio Society’s education outreach and lecture & tea, held annually since 1972, are supported by the Alter Trust created by Mrs. Ruth Shippen Alter, a past president of NSCDA Ohio.
