Reflecting on January 6th

The National Society of The Colonial Dames of America stands for the principles upon which our country was founded. We have supported the care and preservation of historic American sites for nearly 130 years. The US Capitol Building is an iconic symbol of the foundational principle of representative government. We condemn the vandalism, violence, and loss of life that occurred as a result of the assault on our Capitol. The NSCDA is inspired by the resilience of our democratic institutions. We have faith in our democracy and hope in our nation, to learn from and find strength in remembrance.
