Membership

We roll up our sleeves and volunteer. The NSCDA is not a social club (although we love to gather); it’s a nonprofit service organization. So, preservation work is also part of our DNA and our collective purpose. We are privately funded and use our resources, time, and talents to keep historic places open to the public. Being a member of the NSCDA is about much more than ancestry—it’s about dedication to service, commitment to communities, and passion for sharing our nation’s history. Learn More
