Connecting with Communities

Our members are committed to supporting communities through various programs that build on our organization's passion for historic preservation, service, and education.

Stockings for Veterans

Despite the challenges of weather and illness forcing the cancellation of the Patriotic Services Committee event, Chairman Linn Krikorian ensured that the Veterans project was completed with dedication and care. Thanks to her efforts, Veterans at the VA Medical Center in Manchester received festive red stockings filled with thoughtful, practical gifts. Linn personally purchased fabric and hand-sewed the stockings, carefully selected patriotic mugs as suggested by VA staff, and gathered additional gifts to make each package special. She then delivered all 21 stockings to the VAMC on behalf of the New Hampshire Dames, ensuring that our commitment to honoring Veterans remained strong.
