3 alphabets: uppercase script has J, ends at Q, uppercase block also has a J, no U, some double letters, lowercase missing the J, has both the long and short style S and an ampersand. The sampler also has 3 scene panels (1) a man and woman in courtly style dress in the center with flower motifs and a bird. (2): Saint Paul's Cathedral in London in the center with two females (one holds a parasol) and a tree on the L and a man and woman (she holds a parasol) on the R and a tree. Birds fly in the sky. (3) is a panel of floral motifs on a green lawn, a lion on the R and another animal near the L. A vine and leaf border across the bottom and up both sides.
