- Many beautiful motifs decorate this sampler: baskets and urns of flowers, many different kind of birds both flying and perching, the Spies of Caanan, a couple in colonial fashion, deer, owls, squirrels, various bugs. At the bottom a scene with a tall fruit tree with a very large bird sitting in the branches, a two story house on the L with smoke coming from the chimney, a tall structure on the R with many trees. Arcaded honeysuckle vine border on all sides.
