- (Once part of a fire screen): A seated shepherd leans against a fallen tree trunk. A shepherdess stands in front of a tree that covers the whole upper portion of the scene. The faces, hands and feet of the people are drawn and painted. At the bottom, a floral vine is tied with a blue bow. The vine is peppered with flowers at the bottom ending in an large floral display. Believed to have been done by Sally Atwater at the Sarah Pierce's Litchfield Female Academy in Litchfield, Connecticut. See file for more details.
