Below the verse are three wide cross bands: one has flowering plants, birds, and sheep or goats, and two are wide geometric bands. At the bottom the Spies of Canaan, wearing knee-breeches and flared coats. They are identified by the letter Ja and Ca and are flanked by trees, flowering plants and small birds. Below them is a strip solidly worked in cross-stitch. Geometric flowering vine border across top and down both sides, arcaded strawberry border across bottom.
