Sulgrave Manor Celebrates 200 Years of Peace

Sulgrave Manor celebrates 200 years of peace between the United States and Great Britain in 2014. The Treaty of Ghent was signed in 1814, officially ending the War of 1812. In 1914, a group of British subscribers raised funds to purchase Sulgrave Manor and present it to the people of the US and UK in celebration of 100 years of peace. A hundred years later, Sulgrave is again celebrating a another milestone of peace with the UK and the significant support provided by the NSCDA to Sulgrave over the past 100 years.
