Matching Gifts
Did you know you can double your support for the NSCDA without giving a dollar more? Contact your employer to ask about your company’s Matching Gifts Program.
How to Apply for a Matching Gift
1. Obtain a matching gift form and program guidelines from your company’s human resources office.
2. Fill in the employee section of the form and send it to the NSCDA along with your donation, or if you’ve made your contribution online, complete the form and mail it to:

3. We will confirm your gift and forward the completed form to your employer’s matching gifts office for processing. The company will send its matching donation directly to NSCDA.
Planned Giving
Through a bequest, retirement plan, life insurance policy beneficiary designation, or life income gift, you can leave an important legacy with the NSCDA. Gifts of Stock and Securities
To make a one-time gift of mutual fund shares, closely held stock, or other forms of stock, follow the instructions in the PDF, here or email Sarah Paul at SarahPaul@nscda.org.
IRAS
Donors age 70.5 or older may give up to $100,000 directly from an individual retirement account (IRA) to qualified charities without paying federal income tax on the distribution. Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD) are an excellent way to show your support for the NSCDA and receive a tax benefit in return, and may help fulfill your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) as well.

Ask your administrator to include your name and purpose in documentation that will arrive with the gift, such as a cover letter or memo line, to ensure your gift will be applied appropriately and we can send you your receipt.
Donor-Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. DAF Direct enables you to recommend grants to the NSCDA directly from your DAF (as long as your DAF’s sponsoring organization is participating). Using the DAF Direct link, you can initiate a DAF grant recommendation from our website.
