B&C’s date of “circa 1803” is in error here with the only sampler using this verse is 1810. Biographical info backs this up with Eunice born in 1799. https://archive.org/details/newenglandprimer00west/page/n19/mode/2up Benjamin Harris originally published The New-England Primer in 1690. It went through many editions but none survive before a 1727 edition and the 1777 edition is the earliest found reproduced online.
