In 2016, we celebrated the 125th Anniversary of the founding for the NSCDA!

All those years ago, our original Dames had a vision for preserving the history of our nation and building an organization to support and implement that vision. 125 years later, the NSCDA boasts over 15,000 members in 44 Corporate Societies that continue the mission of actively promoting our national heritage through historic preservation, patriotic service and educational projects.

In honor of this monumental anniversary, two exhibitions were created to showcase the depth and breadth of the work the Dames have completed. Women of Vision focused on the extraordinary contributions Dames have made to society as a whole, while History’s Keepers explored significant events in NSCDA history.
