4 alphabets: block and script uppercase with 26 letters plus ampersand. Cursive uppercase: no J. Narrow stitched lines. Numbers 1-10. Double border of squares and zigzags on both sides and across top. (Note): This sampler appears to have been stitched by Ruth Croswell in 1827 and then another stitcher added the year of her passing (1862) at the bottom.
