Berlin work memorial sampler. Large vase of flowers in upper half with birds, animals and flower motifs around. At bottom a tomb with a large flowering bush on either side. Strawberry border all four sides.
Inscription
(At top): When weeping by a mothers grave / Her glorious spirit may be near / And o'er our heads her wings may wave / And wipe away the flowing tear / / (On tomb): To / The / Memry / * M E * / (On L of tomb): weep not for me / My husband dear / But bring thy children / up with tender care / Wehn (sic) a few more flee / ing days are past / We shall meet in / heaven at last. (On R of tomb): Blest are they who / slumber in the lord / thou to oh father / thou art blest / Angels came to / crown thee at their / workd thou hast gone / to share h (ufinished).
