- Inscription
- (Between alphabet 2 and 3): A C E N T W / (Below): No balmy flower in heaven or earth that grows / Is half so sweet as Sharon's beauteous rose / No tongue of man or angel ere can tell / How much all other sweets it doth excel. / This fragrant flowr revives the drooping heart / Cures ev'ry grief and woe and pungent smart / As wondrous virtues gives celestial peace / Which once obtain'd doth evermore increase // (On the R side): Wrought by / Martha Morse / Aged 10 1826 //
