- 1 alphabet: uppercase block complete with ampersand. Three wide cross bands of hearts and diamonds, red flowers, carnations. A large red deer dominates the top portion of this sampler. Two facing doves, two small and two large flower motifs on either side. At the bottom a large tree on both sides and in the center a woman (Mary) holding a baby (Jesus) rides on a donkey. Two angels fly above her. Four swans in a row swim in a narrow stream. Arcaded multicolored strawberry border on both sides and across the top.
