A standing man (St. Simon the Zealot) wearing a long black robe. He holds a very long saw. He stands beneath a tree to the R which is sawed off at the top. To the L are low bushes and flowers including roses. Whip stitched edge all four sides. (One of a group of 12 silk needlework pictures, each depicts an apostle.)
