Baskets and urns of flowers, strawberry plants, hearts, flower sprays. At the bottom a two story house with two chimneys, a dog on each side. On a green knoll with a large tree in both corners a reclining collared deer. Reversing arcaded flower border all four sides. (Done at the Hunterdon Collared Deer School).

(In a cartouch with two facing birds at the top): Permelia / Cooley / was born / May 9 1826 (In the center): When youth and all its joys are flown / And bosom friends are dead and gone / These lines will bring to minb(sic) / Remembrance of those happy days / when I could stray throug fancys maze / Light as the passing wind //
