Three potted plants at the top with a bird at each end. Across the bottom a scene with geometric trees, birds, two facing insects, two dogs and flowering plants. A flowering vine flows on each side to the top. A reversing arcaded honeysuckle border all four sides.

(In a saw tooth rectangle in the center): Next to my God dear Friends I do address / Myself to you in Humble thankfulness / For all your care and charge on me bestow'd / The means of learning unto me allow'd / Go on dear Friends and let me still pursue / Those golden Arts the unlearned never knew / Sarah Clark Her Work / Finished June 4 * 1823 //
