- A girl stands beside a tall tomb with an obelisk on top. She is dressed in a long gown and holds one end of a long black ribbon to her cheek. Small plants are in the foreground and a tall weeping willow hangs over the scene. Face and arms are painted. (May have been worked at Bridgewater Academy by Cynthia or Louisa who were daughters of Asa Dunbar. He was the maternal grandfather of Henry Thoreau).
