3 alphabets: each complete one with ampersand. Numbers 1-12. Various motifs of flying white doves, perched birds, fir trees, windmills, small dogs, flowers, and strawberries. Arcaded strawberry border across the top and the bottom with a small flowered border up both sides. A White Dove sampler.
Inscription
(In the center): Now in the cold grave is Marian sleeping / Unfinished the work which her fingers began / While we finish her task amidst sorrow and weeping / We'll think of the frailty of shortlived man. (In a cartouche at the bottom): Marian Childs / AE 14 1820 (Note: this sampler was finished by someone else after Marian passed away).
