At the bottom: the Spies of Canaan (Caleb and Joshua), wearing flared coats, wide hats, and knee-breeches, carrying grapes on a pole between them. The letters C and J are over their heads with the notation: NVBERS c 13 V 23. They are flanked by tulip plants in baskets and small trees. Geometric vine-and flower border down both sides and across the top.
