- This is a fabulously stitched embroidery of the Washington family based on a portrait by Edward Savage. From the L: G.W. Parke Curtis (Martha's grandson), George Washington, Eleanor P. Curtis, (Martha's granddaughter) and Martha Washington. Washinton's personal slave Billly Lee stands behind Mrs. Washington. A map is spread on the table.
