Top of sampler is inscribed with 8 lines with a cross band separating each one from the next. A crown is worked as a line ending. A long central octagonal panel, which includes a name and date; surrounding it a symmetrical arrangement of motifs including a fruit basket, crowns and coronets, flower sprigs, strawberries and flower vases.
