Inscription
On Friendship / There is not a flame more pure and endearing / A felling more tender and sweet / Then glows in the bosom of Friendship appearing / In hearts that in unison beat / There's a charm in that word which makes memory dear / And binds us more warmly to home / Clears the desert of life of all that seems drear / And cheers us whenever we roam. / Performed by / Charity Ann Kitchel / Haverhill June 1830 //
