- A woman in an Empire style dress wearing a gold foil crown, hold her arms out to a child in a white dress who is being lifted out of a basket by another woman while another holds a parasol over her head and a child holds the train of her dress. In the background an additional woman hides behind a willow tree. The L foreground has large brown & green leaves, a formation is attributed to the Patten School in Hartford (see Girlhood Embroidery by Betty Ring p. 207)
