- A large house with two chimneys sits on a lawn divided by diagonal paths (or fences), with ducks and dogs. Small halves of buildings on either side. Trees both large and small on L, a floral spray on R. Grape vine border all four sides. (Note: known as a "Diagonal Path Sampler" since all of the girls who stitched these 5 samplers lived in the same general area of Baltimore, MD).
