About

Built by William and Phebe Stevens Betts, "the Oldest Brick House in Ohio," is a Federal-style house built of brick made on site at the Betts’ brick factory. The Ohio Society has owned the house since 1996 and oversees a research center with the mission to interpret “the history of Cincinnati from 1800 to the present through the study of the evolution of building materials and the preservation of buildings.”

From 1-75 take Ezzard Charles Drive exit, continue east on Ezzard Charles, turn right on John Street, then left on Clark Street. Park on Clark or Central.
