Orlando Brown HouseOpen: March 1 through mid-December. Tours: Begin at Liberty Hall. Tuesday through Saturday: 10:30 a.m., 12:00 Noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Sunday: 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Closed: Mondays and the months of January and February.

The Orlando Brown House was built by the Honorable John Brown for his son Orlando. Orlando Brown practiced law and worked as a journalist. He was National Commissioner of Indian Affairs under President Taylor.

This is the only known residence designed by Kentucky's most famous architect, Gideon Shyrock. It is furnish with antiques owned by the three generations of Brown family members who lived there until 1954.
